2011 STAINED GLASS COURSES
Beginners & all Levels of Experience Starting in August Monday Nights. Classes beginning the first Monday of each month &meets once a week.
Classes run for seven weeks One night a week from 6:00-8:30p.m
This is the perfect class for the beginner wanting to learn a new hobby. Carol will guide you from start to finish teaching you the copper foil method to make a stained glass panel. Experienced students can choose any project from panels to lampshades. Carol will assist you with the copper foil project or with the lead came construction. Cost of class includes; scrap glass paper supplies, liquid supplies and the use of our tools! Need more time? Come in for open studio for free. Full tuition is due at time of enrollment Tuition is NON-REFUNDABLE Cost: $80.00

Freeform Designs Three day intermediate stained glass class TBA Instructor: Carol Giffin Cost: $65.00 4 people minimum Tuition due at time of enrollment (Non-Refundable) Call or e-mail to sign up!
Incorporate nature into your glass. Transform your own agates, geodes, shells or sticks into design elements for stained glass. The ragged edge of rolled glass renders the perfect organic line to accent your gems. We have a nice selection of Kokomo "Heads & Tails"which have these rolled edges and blown glass rondels if you prefer these to agates. Each of you will design your own one of a kind stained glass masterpiece. You may bring your own tools or use ours.
Students will need to provide &/or purchase: - 3/8" edging. Zinc - Approximately 2 pieces of art glass (finished art piece should be no larger than 20" square) - Large agate, geode, rondel or shell - Stick (should be dry (not green wood) and free of rot) - Copper foil sheet (if using stick) - Solder - Stand

Jewelry
Every Wednesday 6:00pm - 8:00pm join us to make a piece of jewelry. $20.00 per person per night + materials. All skill levels welcome! The price of materials is appoximate & will make one project. Feel free to make more and fuse them with the rest of the class projects. Carol makes every week special with lots of energy, new techniques and tips to make you successful.
- TBA- Etched Dichroic Pendant- per pendant $6.50 Etch beautiful designs into your dichroic glass using etching cream. Carol has lots of great designs to choose from. You will like it so much you'll want to make more!
- TBA- Enamel Decal Pendant & 22Kt Gold Decal Pendant - per pendant $4.50 Add black enamel designs to your dichroic pendant. Easy to put together and Carol will show you the unique firing schedule to make the perfect project.
- TBA- Mosaic Dichroic Pendant- per pendant $5.25 Mix dichroic colors together to make the perfect pendant. Just when you think you've got it right, we'll add dots to the top! This project continues into next week.
- TBA- Dichroic Slide Bracelet- per bracelet $15.00 Lavish your wrists with this easy to wear stretch bracelet. Be creative and add a watch to the bracelet!
- TBA- DicroSlide Pendant- per pendant $9.25 Dichroic designs are as easy as punching paper! Layering the glass designs makes a miniature canvas with each pendant. A masterpiece in the making!
- TBA- Fine silver pendant & earrings- per set $15.00 Chiclet size dichroic glass will dangle from ears and necklace. Fuse in place fine silver drop pendant and earring set will be the envy of all your friends.
- TBA- Dots, dots, dots & more dots- $10.00 Jewels of dichroic glass catch the light to make this bracelet glow. Just for giggles we'll also add these gems to tacks to make stunning push pins for your bulletin board.
- TBA- Millefiori Pendants- per pendant $7.00 Arrange colorful millefiori (thousand flowers) in simple shapped pendants for a burst of color.

Fused Plate/Tile Wednesdays
Every Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm we will have a new plate/tile project. The classes are all skill level and everyone is welcome. The Light Haus will provide use of a 5" square plate mold, but, you can create a different size plate with your own mold. Each week we will have a full or dimensional fuse and a slump firing. Students are responsible for purchasing their own glass. Projects should not be larger than 11" round or 8" square. Cost of the class is $25.00 per night and materials will cost approximately $10.00. Call us to sign up for class.

- TBA The Sandwich- Layer frits, confetti, stringers and noodles to create an illusion of depth.
- TBA Crack Me Up- Embellish the surface of the glass using powdered frits to make cracks. Students to bring a face mask rated N95.
- TBA Mod Plate- Stack your favorite glass colors to make a groovy plate.
- TBA Bubble Plate- Strategically catch air bubbles between layers of glass then add a little frit for color and voila a bubble plate is made! Students to bring a face mask rated N95.
- TBA Lasting Impressions- Caste a relief by fusing shapes into your plate.
- TBA Frame & Fill- Design a glass frame then fill with colors of frits, confettis, stringers & noodles.
- TBA Nugget Plate- Create you own nugget color combinations then the following week we'll strategically place the nuggets to make a dish with stringers and noodles. This project makes a great soap dish. Bring your own fusible scrap glass or purchase glass here.
- May 25 Plaid Plate- Design your own tartan/plaid using noodles and stringers.
- TBA Coloring Book- It's as easy as coloring with crayons! Trace a design then fill with color. Bring your favorite line drawing, a page of a coloring book or a stained glass design. Students to bring a face mask rated N95...
- TBA Mosaic Plate- Combine shards of glass as a background then layer a blossom on top. Students to bring a face mask rated N95.
